Seasoned with salt, pepper and rosemary. I spread roasted garlic on the top of the steak as well.

    Oh my god! 10/10 crust and 10/10 doneness. Roasted garlic is a cherry on top. This is one of the best steaks I’ve seen on the sub. Well done OP!

    Also I feel like it is necessary to add that it was a 1.4 pound prime NY strip.

    got what appears to be the same thermometer for Christmas as well. yet to use it with a steak thought (just a roast)

    How thick does a steak need to be to really be useful? id assume even at an inch thick its a waste of time?
