
Hi everyone! I am new to canning. I have canned apple pie filling with the ball apple pie filling recipe. But now I am trying to figure out a good apple butter canning recipe. My grandpa really loved apple butter especially from apple hill and I am trying to find a recipe that is exactly or sort of like it. I also wanted to know why 2 of these recipes rant safe to can? because aren't apple naturally acidic? Why wouldn't any certain apple butter recipe work?
