French sampling finds low E. coli risk in ground meat

Only two meat samples were found to be positive for E. coli as part of a monitoring program in France.

The findings come from the official monitoring programs for Shiga Toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) in ground beef and veal in 2023 and 2024 led by the General Directorate for Food (DGAL).
