It all started with a ninja luxe for my wife at Christmas, the hope was to get her to quit her nasty habit of drinking off the same pot of drip Starbucks coffee all week long 🤮. Little did I know how much I’d enjoy the ritual of espresso and the learning curve that would follow. Not to mention how much I enjoyed actually making my wife a good cup!

Luckily the ninja only lasted 1 week before breaking, we ended up purchasing a profitec move with the hopes it would be something to grow into and so far it has not disappointed. Can’t wait to see what this journey has in store.

Wait…the same pot of drip? Like one big pot that is being consumed over the course of a week?

Looks awesome! What kind of medicine do you practice?

  4. How do you like the move? Been looking at this or a modded gaggia classic

This level of consumption is irresponsible and should be discouraged. We’re not even three weeks into the year and OP has purchased five separate machines.

Research before you buy. Buy for the life of the equipment. If you decide to upgrade, do it judiciously and pass on your old tools with an eye toward helping others.

My year kind of went that way—Espresso Machine, Grinder, Knock Box, 2 Portafilters, Basket, couple tools, 2 pourover units, a Moccamaster, Moccapot, french press. All set for a while

So why did you buy 3 grinders?

The Profitec Move looks sexy, really glad to see companies releasing things that are not chromed E61s
