New Italian restaurant in Baton Rouge to open soon

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A new Italian restaurant in Mid City Baton Rouge prepares to open its doors next week.

Josephine’s at 5350 Government St. is set to open on Thursday, Jan. 22.

“The finishing touches are going in, and the doors are almost ready to open. From the hand-laid tile to the soft glow of the lights, every detail has been chosen with care – and we can’t wait to share it with you,” a Facebook post from the restaurant reads.

Diners can expect menu offerings such as handmade pasta, pizza and other Italian favorites. The full menu will be available soon, the restaurant noted in its latest update online.
