Thrifted for $7.50 😎

DeLonghi Lattissima+ listed for $15. Saturday’s at my local thrift are half off, so I got it for $7.50!

Just to get this out of the way:

• No, there weren’t roaches or ants inside. TBD on if there is a spiritual entity attached to it, in which case follow-up with me on r/paranormal

• Yes, I’m aware that this model can have leaking in the unit’s head over time due to degrading rubber seals where the pod goes. No issues with this machine!

ANYWHOSER it was missing the water tank and milk frother. Ordered an OEM tank for $27. Will not be replacing the milk frother assembly ($45 OEM) at this time. I just don’t find it necessary, when the microwave and a handheld frother can do the job.

I used compressed air to blow out any loose debris inside, as well thoroughly scrub it down. Once the water tank arrives, we’ll hit her with at least 2 descaling cycles and she’ll be ready to party 🫡

We already have an Essenza Mini that we love, so this will likely be gifted to a friend in the future.
