Ekone Frozen Smoked Scallops

I know, I know. This isn’t a tin. But you have no idea how shocked I was to find one of my most beloved tinned fish brands, Ekone, in the freezer. These smoked scallops were mind bendingly delicious. Just thaw in the fridge and eat. They are very firm, not slippery at all. They’re meaty with a fantastically robust texture and a light smoke flavor, along with a natural sweetness and umami. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.
