Can anybody tell me, given the details available, if this is a real blue BGE, And what details I should check for to verify authenticity?
Is there a brand that makes a visually similar Komato?
If this is authentic, how much is it worth?

It’s a Sam’s club variety. Not BGE. Gets the job done for a fraction of the price.
LOL ,Looks like a sleeping baby
There were very very limited blue BGE’s produced. Really hard to find.
This is not a Big Green Egg.
That’s not a BGE. Thats a Chinese Kamado sold under many different brand name (Vision, Cajun, and a few others). Nothing wrong with them (other than the fact that Cap has plastic parts on it and they melt at high temp).
The clubs sell these too. Costco and Sam’s have had them under different brand names
Nope
I have one of these. I have never used it. I bought it off of Walmart pre-covid. I was going to use it for a grilling club at work. But Covid hit and I just sat in a box in my office. I finally brought it home. It doesn’t seem like bad quality. It is very similar to an egg. I have 5 eggs. I was going to use it to bake breads in. I just haven’t got around to it. My son claims it is his, because it is his size, but has also claimed my small egg.
