Since u/ChrisCrat posted about the 2022 vintage of Pataille’s Fleur de Pinot Marsannay Rosé, I wanted to get this out, as well. This past weekend I opened the 2018.
The 2018 Domaine Sylvain Pataille Marsannay Rosé 'Fleur de Pinot' is an age-worthy rosé wine from the Marsannay appellation in Burgundy, France. It is made from a blend of old-vine Pinot Noir and Pinot Beurot (Pinot Gris) grapes. ALC 13.3%
Poured a small amount in a glass using the Coravin. The nose was a bit muted for me but J. Robinson described it as “savoury.”On the palate, flavors of strawberry and cherry. Long persistent finish with lip-smacking acidity. This wine is so good!

Thanks for making me jealous! I love Pataille wines and love turning people on to them. Super refined winemaking. Need to get my hands on a Rose! Can not say I have had the pleasure yet
