    Not too stupid.

    It’s a little much but all the ingredients make sense, they don’t go too overboard (just medium overboard) with it and most of all, it still looks eatable without making a gigantic mess. It doesn’t have 4 inches of whipped cream on top with sparklers and a gigantic cotton candy stuck in the summit.

    I was planning to make a cake that looks like shawarma for my friend’s PhD defense. I thought this post might give me some recipe ideas, but I think I’ll stick with the original plan of making a Swiss roll that sort of looks like shawarma😂

    You could make the crepe roll without stacking the cakes. The stacking did nothing worthwhile.

    Apart from that, it’s just a cake crepe, which doesn’t sound terrible to eat.

    Everyone out here trying to make the next Dubai Chocolate.

    Problem is that was a massive campaign put on by the government so when you google “Dubai…” the next word that comes up is “…Chocolate” and not “…Portapotty”. Gotta have that big money to get to Dubai Chocolate levels of trending.

    Hard to bring tourists in when your country is famous for letting rich people defecate on hot female instagram models, gotta change the algorithm.

    Anyway, this is pretty stupid food. Not necessarily because it looks like it tastes bad, but because it’s stupid to make and just not functional/pragmatic.
