I am looking to add these two varieties from the Experimental Farm Network store to my garden this year, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. The first one is a Galapagos tomato from Joseph Lofthouse. The second variety is called “Yellow Scotland”.

Just curious if anyone has worked with these before, especially Yellow Scotland.

No experience unfortunately, but I’m growing my own Galapagos tomatoes this year as a pest control experiment. The cultivar I found is apparently covered in glandular trichomes, which *might* be exactly what I need to combat a thrips infestation.

I ordered the Lofthouse Galapagos tomatoes too. Super excited to see how they come out!

Yellow Scotland is new to me, though. I have grown other yellow tomatoes like Lemon Boy and Yellow Pear and found them generally milder and a little sweeter. If Yellow Scotland is like that, it should be a winner for snacking and salads.
