Hi all!
Just wanted to share a happy milestone. Sold my first batch of royal icing decorated cookies. (Actually, this is the first thing of any dessert/baking I’ve gotten paid for)
30 cookies. Was for a little girls sleepover party. Sold for $70. Located in Southern California. I know I probably undersold myself but it’s OK – it was for a distant family member and it was more so an exciting revelation/learning curve than anything. It took me about 8 hours from start to finish. (this is only my third time decorating with royal icing, and I was very nervous as this was my first paid thing ever. Yes I’m slow.)
They tasted good, looked good, and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did. 🙂

They look great! Also the cookie itself looks so big and thick! Congrats on your first order, mark the date on the calendar and celebrate it every year! If you don’t mind me asking, was it a regular sugar cookie flavor/dough?
