SCRANTON — Bukatini at Posh — a restaurant that opened in July — will close at the end of January, Joshua Mast, co-owner of Posh Events and the Colonnade, said Tuesday.
Mast and Paul Blackledge, who previously operated a restaurant at Posh at the Scranton Club, 404 N. Washington Ave., for a decade, before closing it in February 2022, brought in Cindhy Martinez and Jacob Gandaro of Taylor to run Bukatini.
Gandaro previously worked as a chef at restaurants in the region including Cusumano in Old Forge and Martinez formerly worked at Cusumano and Rikasa in Pittston.
The last day of operation for Bukatini will be Jan. 31.
All private events currently booked at Posh at the Scranton Club will continue as planned, Mast said.
He also teased the possibility of future opportunities for the space.
“We’re hoping to have some new news coming, but nothing has been confirmed,” Mast said.
