CLEVELAND, Ohio — Patron Saint all-day café is turning into an Italian-inspired ski chalet for the final two weeks of January.

Patron Saint is bringing back The Chalet pop-up for the second year in a row. Starting at 4 p.m. from Jan. 20-23 and Jan. 26-30, the café at 2915 Detroit Ave. will transform into an alpine winter wonderland.

The regular menu will be available until 4 p.m. After that, the alpine menu featuring dishes and drinks inspired by various regional cuisines in Northern Italy.

The food menu includes snacks like “fondue” with bread cubes and vegetables and Italian “hush puppies,” or potato dumplings with herb aioli. The main menu includes stand-out dishes like pizzoccheri Valtellinesi, or buckwheat noodles with cabbage, potato and cheese, and ossobuco ragu with polenta.

Desserts include black rice pudding and a pistachio tart, among other options.

Patron Saint will be pouring an array of Italian wines by the glass alongside craft cocktails like an Alpine Boulevardier. The full bar menu, including coffee, wine by the bottle and amaro, will also be available.

The menu will be available each day until 8 p.m. Reservations aren’t required.
