Haili surprised us with wonderful flavors, a homey interior, and the most accommodating people. Missed a booking at Sho, so we thought to book Haili instead for our Kaohsiung trip and we're super glad we did!
I was a fan of each dish (except for the third course because I can't stand eggplants, but still enjoyed the mackerel) the duck was perfectly cooked, and the warm welcome was very much appreciated! I would give anything to taste their strawberry and apple tatin dessert again. So so good!
Also found out that they just recently opened in 2023 but they had a star ever since and they truly deserve that.
