Honestly gifts that take up time and effort mean a whole lot more to me than any sort of gift really. Not a lot of gifts are given anymore that aren’t materials or possessions that get forgotten or even unused. I hope they appreacite the effort, time and love than you put into those yummy cupcakes! ETA I can afford to lavish stuff on my twin, and I have… but the gift she liked best was a 2nd Cent BCE coin of a Scythian Queen (she is a Scythian in SCA stuff.) It isn’t the value of the thing. Its that I listened to her.. I hunted up stuff that went with her SCA stuff. Its that I cared and paid attention… just like you have!
