Best Indian food I’ve ever had in the US. Kitchen and ownership is all Indian, truly an underrated gem.

This food comes out looking the same as it went in

If that’s supposed to be a naan then this place sucks

  3. Did not expect this much hate 😂, this place is gas. I wouldn’t post it if it wasn’t

I’ve had this place and it’s ok. We prefer India’s Flavor down on Verdugo.

Tried this place last year and it had a lot to be desired (i got my food takeout though, so not sure of dining in).

Check out India’s Clay Pit in North Hollywood. Much better food.

I have been there and i will say it’s very fine and there is nothing wrong with loving it. However i would say it’s far from the best Indian food even in Los Angeles, which to be fair i don’t think has a very vibrant Indian scene

    EDIT: a word

Portions look kinda small. How much?

This is my favorite spot OP! The real (not freezer burn frozen) spinach in the saag, the warm bread, their kidney bean and lentils regional speciality…hell ya

I hate when places like this load the tikki masala with like 95% sauce 5% chicken

Looks mid and overpriced. Best Indian food I had was in India. Possibly the best food I’ve ever had. Indian food outside of India has proven to be a consistent waste of money, with the exception of Malaysia.

wait… wait… is this the same Cardamom that used to be on Melrose?? I liked that place! I thought it shut down.

  12. I personally prefer India’s flavor by a large degree. They are a 2 min drive from this place.

This looks awful, I can eyeball quality in my people’s food

That last pic looks straight up food coloring. Garlic naan and the paneer in pic 5 looks sad. Saying that this is the best Indian food you have had in the US means you haven’t tried any good places. I have had phenomenal Indian food in SF, Chicago, NYC, Philly, Boston and DC.

Brits love it. I swear every time I go, it’s mostly English folks reminiscing about how much the food tastes like home. That said, inside is hot and crowded, and the food is good.
