In learning the art of bonbon making, I had the idea to make a box of chocolates called “Tea at the Museum” where each bonbon has a tea infused flavor inside, and the outside decorations are inspired by recognizable famous paintings. It’s fairly ambitious and will probably take me years to accomplish, but here is a trial run of The Starry Night.

I used some leftover dark chocolate for about half of them; the others are layered with jasmine green tea syrup, hazelnut praline ganache, and a hazelnut white chocolate crispy cookie. The recipes I used and some helpful info about tempering chocolate are linked below:

These chocolates look impeccable! Did you brush on each design? What type of coloring did you use?

TIL it’s The Starry Night and not Starry Night.

    They look great!

Wow these are absolutely stunning and so inspiring!

Wow! These came out phenomenal. How did you paint them? Freehand? Whenever I try to freehand colored cocoa butter in polycarbonate molds the colors all tend to run together and end up looking like a dripping mess. Some of my peeps say they look like abstract graffiti lol

    Great job regardless 👏🏻

So you painted cocoa butter with coloring and metallic inside a mold? Then made a shell then filled with gananch?

Ive had these once on a date years ago! And i tried recreating them last year and they turn out terrible!

Omg stop!! These are literally works of art! 🎨 I would feel so guilty eating something this beautiful… okay, who am I kidding, I would devour the whole tray immediately.

The shine is absolute perfection! You have serious talent, sweetie! Is that a dark chocolate ganache inside? It looks so silky smooth!

These look phenomenal! I would feel guilty taking a bite out of them though.

Wow I hope they taste as good as they look (which is amazing) 👏

And when Vincent was alive, I doubt he ever thought his work would inspire recipes and design 137 years into the future, if anyone needs any inspiration to create and share their work.
