Thankfully, plenty of Vancouver restaurants are offering special romantic Valentine’s Day dinners to help woo your partner. Whether you’re looking for something special for your long-term partner or trying to impress that special someone you just met, we’ve got you covered.

From the first contemporary Cambodian restaurant in Canada to so many great set menus, these are some of the top Valentine’s Day dinners you can book in and around Vancouver this year.

Nothing impresses us more than someone taking us to one of the hottest new restaurants in the city, and you can do just that with Touk.

Prepare to enjoy a special four-course menu from none other than Top Chef Canada season 11 winner Chanthy Yen that is “designed for lingering bites, quiet conversations and stolen glances across the table.”

“Settle into the candle-lit warmth of our space and let us take care of you, making tonight a beautiful secret shared amongst the table,” writes Touk.

Folietta is offering a four-course dinner that features favourites like its house-made tagliatelle with rich duck ragu, its grilled branzino, and Chef Oliver’s renowned Tiramisu.

“Set in an intimate candlelit space, this is the perfect escape for you and your special someone. Let food, wine, and love mingle to create an unforgettable night,” writes Folietta.

The only thing more romantic than a candlelit three-course Italian dinner (paired with a couple of cocktails, of course) is discounted bottles of bubbly. But don’t worry, Nonna’s encourages everyone to attend, whether they’re couples, friends, groups, or anyone in between.

Head chefs Adrian Nate and Arish Dastoor are putting together a special Valentine’s Day tasting menu.

On the menu, you can find dishes like Scallop Crudo with pink peppercorn and blood orange vinaigrette, Lamb Kleftiko (a pressed lamb leg with roasted roots and barrel-aged feta), and Mahalepi (a fig-infused custard with macerated strawberries and brown sugar kaitafi).

Plus, they’re even taking care of the flowers for you as they promise that each table will have a bouquet of flowers from local supplier Athiana Acres.

Song (By Kin Kao)

Song (By King Kao) invites Vancouverites to celebrate รัก (rak, or “love” in English) at their restaurant.

It’s a celebration of connection—between people, place, and plate. A night of big flavours, shared tables, and love felt in every detail,” writes Song.

Wildlight

Chef Warren Chow and his team are putting together a three-course Valentine’s Day dinner menu to treat your special someone. Expect menu items like a special Surf and Turf main, with wine pairings also available.

While details for Suyo’s Valentine’s Day dinner have yet to be shared, the restaurant is promising a “premium multi-course tasting menu” courtesy of Chef Ricardo Valverde (the same person behind Vancouver’s first true Peruvian cevicheria opening soon).

You can also enjoy Loam’s special February featured drink, a luscious Strawberry Hot Chocolate.

Alouette Bistro

Surf and Turf Cheese Fondue sounds like a dream come true, and you can get it this Valentine’s weekend at Alouette Bistro. Enjoy raclette cheese fondue with filet mignon, prosciutto, prawns, scallops, pickled and fresh vegetables, Creamer potatoes, and sourdough.

You’ll enjoy Boulevard’s chilled shellfish platter for the table, a choice of second between many tasty options, a choice of main between charcoal grilled sablefish, Nova Scotia lobster fricassee, Charcoal grilled wagyu beef zabuton, A5 Miyazaki prefecture wagyu, and Five spice Thiessen farms quail, and then all finished up with a dessert platter for the table.

Riley’s

Enjoy a $110 per person Valentine’s menu with bites including Riley’s House Brioche with garlic confit oil, gruyere, lobster oil, and whipped butter, followed by first courses including Ahi Tuna Carpaccio, Steak Tartare, or Crispy Burrata Salad (each you can pair with select Okanagan wines).

Entrées include a choice of Steak Rossini (with an optional butter-poached lobster tail), Coast to Coast Cioppino, or Porcini Mushroom Risotto (also with wine pairings available). The meal concludes choice of Banana Foster or Raspberry Chocolate Cheesecake.

The Teahouse

At $98 per person, you’ll enjoy an evening that begins with Dungeness Crab Arancini with lemon aioli, followed by a selection of refined appetizers such as Beef Tartare, Lobster Bisque, Teahouse Stuffed Mushrooms, or Zucchini Carpaccio.

For the main course, expect choices from standout entrées including Surf & Turf with New York striploin and garlic butter lobster tail, Salmon Wellington, Five Spice Pan-Seared Duck Breast, or Heart-Shaped Ravioli with rosé cream sauce. The experience concludes with indulgent desserts like White Chocolate Blueberry Cheesecake or the Chocolate Raspberry Heart Duo.

“The French are no strangers to the language of Love, and Chef Jean-Francis is an expert at communicating with food, so what better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with a meal at Provence Marinaside?” wrote the restaurant.

This special seven-course prix fixe menu features bites like dungeness crab tagliatelle, beef tenderloin Rossini, rose champagne granite, and a dessert platter “for lovers to share.”
