The 34th annual tournament integrates high-end viticulture and local gastronomy into its ten-day professional tennis schedule.

Organizers of the Delray Beach Open have unveiled the 2026 schedule for its Food & Wine Series, a hallmark of the ATP Tour event that merges professional athletics with South Florida’s burgeoning culinary scene. The series, running from February 13 to 22 at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center, features a mixture of established social fixtures and new additions, including an Italian-themed tasting event. As the tournament enters its 34th year, the expansion of its hospitality portfolio reflects a broader trend in professional sports toward multi-sensory fan engagement.

The 2026 lineup is anchored by the introduction of “Serve & Savor: A Taste of Italy,” a curated tasting experience scheduled for February 21. The event will feature regional Italian flavors paired with selections from Caymus Vineyards, the tournament’s official wine partner. This addition joins a roster of high-demand events that, in previous years, have necessitated early ticket secures due to capacity constraints in the tournament’s Hospitality Pavilion.

Adam Baron, the Executive Director of the Delray Beach Open, characterized the series as a defining element of the tournament’s identity. “In 2026, we’re building on what fans love most—standout culinary partners, unforgettable social events, and the energy of the tournament week,” Mr. Baron stated. The integration of more than 40 regional restaurants and beverage partners suggests an analytical approach to capturing the “peak season” demographic in Palm Beach County, where hospitality expectations often rival the on-court competition.

The week’s itinerary serves various subsets of the sporting audience. Professional networking takes center stage on February 16 with the 18th Annual Chamber Bash, held in collaboration with the Delray Beach and Boca Raton Chambers of Commerce. For the general public, the “Grand Tasting Event” on February 17 offers access to ATP players alongside open-bar service. Mid-week programming continues with “Burgers, Bourbon & Brew” and “Tacos, Tequila & Tennis,” both of which utilize a competitive voting format where guests determine the region’s top vendors.

Beyond evening festivities, the tournament maintains its “Ladies Day Luncheons” on February 18 and 19, and an upscale “Championship Weekend Brunch” series. Notably, the Saturday brunch has already reached capacity, underscoring the necessity for early booking in a market where luxury sport-hospitality packages are increasingly scarce.

Looking forward, the success of the 2026 Food & Wine Series will likely serve as a barometer for the tournament’s continued growth as a lifestyle destination. By blending specialty cocktails and celebrity athlete appearances with high-stakes tennis, the Delray Beach Open is positioning itself not merely as a stop on the ATP Tour, but as a central node in the South Florida winter social calendar. As the tournament nears its mid-February start, the focus remains on whether this hybrid model of sport and epicureanism will continue to yield the record attendance seen in recent seasons.
