A free lunch will be available for all local service personnel in Pinner at the end of the month.
Minori Italian Restaurant, located at 408–410 Uxbridge Road, will launch its ‘Hero Discount’ scheme with a complimentary meal for service personnel on Friday, January 30 at 12pm.
The Hero Discount offers a permanent 15 per cent discount on food for serving and retired members of the UK armed forces, emergency services, prison service, and HM Courts and Tribunal Service.
Andy Fellini, owner of Minori, said: “I have served residents with authentic home-cooked Italian food for generations and feel a debt of gratitude to our service community for their unending commitment and work during tough times.

“We’re offering this free lunch to all servicemen and women, and thereafter 15% discount on food, permanently. If 100 people turn up on Friday, we’ll make 100 pizzas.”
Mr Fellini began his career at The Savoy Hotel and has been part of the Hatch End and Pinner community for more than 45 years.
The event will also be attended by Gareth Thomas, Labour MP for West Harrow.
Service personnel are encouraged to attend in uniform and must present a valid service ID for entry.
