Honestly whats going to be worse than the lighting for your plants is those “compostable” planters. They always get moldy and stunt growth, and the roots cant just grow through it as easily as they’d like you to think. I just re use the same plastic planters year after year and they work great!

My peppers got super leggy and to try and help I repotted them early and deep in 3inch plastic pots. Now I have the lights closer and they seem to have adjusted well to the change.
Trial and error is always a great tool! I normally do my seeds in a few different ways to eliminate what works and doesn’t.
