Made a relative simple 7-hour stew in it and it turned out great! I really don't know why I didn't own one 20 years ago already. I love (slow) cooking and bbq'ing, but always used our cast iron stuff.. this is so much easier. The coming time I'm going to try a lot of recipes in it as apparently there's a lot of them 😁

Same thing just happened to me. After a week of using one; I wondered why tf I didn’t have one years ago. We both work longish days and it’s cool to not put so much effort into cooking all the time. The recipes are so easy and taste 7/10 at the worst, 10/10 at best
look up Mississippi pot roast. so easy, one of my favs
I use mine 2 or 3 times a week. Last night was chicken and dumplings. I can say I have come home to disappointment having failed to turn it on.
Damn right.
Remember …when you cook something and anyone mentions how good it smells…say “can you smeeeeelll what the crock is cooking”
I just put on a big batch of swamp potato recipe. We’re going to be snowed in, so I’m getting a few hearty meals put together today.
The slow cooker was such a big help when I had hungry teenaged boys.
Here’s to many years of slow-cooking happiness for you and your Mrs.
Makes cooking so much easier when you don’t have to watch your pot of food all the time. You can take a nap or go visit with the neighbors or whatever and not have to worry about it burning or boiling over.
For tacos on corn, corn tortillas, once or twice a year I put a cow tongue in mine over here in Texas. 5 stars.
Home cooked pulled pork my dude, you’ll never go back to the shop bought packs!
That lady is a keeper, godspeed friend!
Post your recipe op.
A slow cooker is basically a magic box.
What are you making? I love mine and love trying new recipes!
Recipe: dump in various items. Cook on low for six hours.
Result: probably.
