Tbh as someone who eats pop tarts often itās a decent upgrade for me because I hate those fake protein pop tarts with a passion.
HOWEVER I think Iām like the only person theyre marketing to with these lol, bc Iām the only person I know other than my family whose watching weight + eats pop tarts

Tbf Iāve seen lots of products slap on theāproteinā labels when itās just 10g per serving. I suppose they are more protein than theyād otherwise be
strawbebby_99
the protein obsession is just the current keto, south beach, organic, cabbage soup, low/non fat, master cleanse, paleo, gluten free, etc. it sucks that health is a constant evolving trend so the general population never actually knows what is a genuine healthy diet for themselves
KidsInNeed
I bought these because they were on sale but yeah, almost 400 calories for 10g of protein is a high price.
SharknadoRemaster
Better macros than normal pop tarts, and tasty.
CancerMoon2Caprising
Protein labels are a gimmick.Ā
Id rather see Fiber labelsĀ
whyamialone_burner
At this point I’ll eat 1 pop tart and a chicken breast. About 100 less for about 30 more
kcxoxo11
Considering their 10 more calories than the regular ones and have 10 g of protein compared to three I feel like thatās a nice option
activelyresting
They are marketing these to people who are trying to boost protein, not as a weight loss or low calorie option. Protein is a nutrition fad, just like the last 27 fads. “Fat free”, “sugar free”, “antioxidants”, “gluten free” etc
Death-By-Lasagna
Lmfao I joked about these existing like a year ago when this whole protein craze started getting out of control and here they are. I imagine they taste good still and not bad for someone already eating pop tarts daily⦠but yeah, itās just a funny product. Theyāll throw protein on the front of any box these day to make people think theyāre āhealthyā lol.
I thought keto was bad, but the obsession with protein is arguably the worst fad Iāve seen at this point š
PolarBurrito
Eat 1 pastry with a Fairlife protein shake, 350 cals and 35 grams protein or so, super tasty brekkist on the go.
But yeahā¦this is a food that has a little added protein, itās not a protein food.
If 1200 cals is your goal and you eat this regularly youāll likely be hungry a lot of the time.

Welcome to marketing.
amethystnight99
My fav scam is the protein bagels. Legit the same amount of protein as normal bagels
Frank_Von_Tittyfuck
Protein is the new āOrganicā
carbonatedeggwater
Unhealthy food trying to market itself as healthy food. Just bc they added 7 grams of fiber. My younger self would have fallen for it, probably.
giotheitaliandude
I mean… if you’re trying to stay at 1200 cals per day then I get it but since Ive moved into bulking up these don’t look that horrible for a once in a while treat š
