The Barcelona Wine Week (BWW) continues to strengthen its position as the leading trade fair for Spanish wine. The next edition from February 2 to 4, 2026, will feature more than 1,300 exhibiting wineries – an increase of four percent compared to the previous year. The exhibition area will grow to 10,800 square meters and will be complemented by tasting zones, networking areas, and a lecture forum.

Represented are 90 Spanish designations of origin, including Ribera del Duero, Rioja, Priorat, Rueda, Cava, Jumilla, and La Mancha. In addition to major brands like Torres***, Freixenet, Raventós Codorníu, or Juve & Camps, hundreds of small and medium-sized businesses, over 300 micro-wineries, and new projects will be showcased. For the first time, Grupo Osborne and DO Rueda will also participate as exhibitors. The majority of exhibitors come from Catalonia, Castilla-León, La Rioja, and Castilla-La Mancha. The strongest growth is recorded in Andalusia, Murcia, and Asturias.

To promote international business, the BWW is enhancing its “Hosted Buyers” program. Around 880 international buyers from Europe, America, and Asia, as well as over 1,000 national trade visitors from retail and gastronomy, are expected.

The fair will be accompanied by a professional program with 80 events and over 130 experts. A focus will be on family-run wineries and the generational change in viticulture. Among the prominent guests is British wine critic Jancis Robinson MW.

The Barcelona Wine Week is supported by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture and the main industry associations. The 2025 edition counted around 25,700 trade visitors, of which 20 percent were from abroad.
