  1. Josh i think again the probiotics, prebiotics need to be brought back. Ferreted things. When your "diet" stops working. I think those are a key to keep the weight off. Cutting wheat can help but for how long.

  2. It really feels and looks like he doesn't even wanna filming his videos anymore. Been watching ever since he's been creating videos and the tone and tenor in his voice are wildly different from his videos in the past.

  3. Lettuce and tomato add flavor and texture as well as perceived value for the eyes. They are also low calorie.

  4. Heinz sells Zero sugar ketchup with 40 cal per 100g to put this in perspective, that's less than 1/3 of what sriracha has. AND the difference between this and "real" Ketuchp is negligible, tastes just as good in my opinion.
I use it all the time for "healthy/Fitness Recipes".

Anyways, this Burger is definitely a Banger!!

  5. I mean – sure – Ketchup isn't exactly "healthy"- however It's seriously not the main focus point in making food unless you use a whole lot! 2 tbs of Ketchup is 34 grams. First off – Ketchup is about 1 calorie pr. gram – which is ACTUALLY a very low calorie condiment. As an example people often use olive oil on "healthy" salads – however when it comes to calories – olive oil is about 8.5x as dense as ketchup! That's right – for 1 tbs of olive oil you can use 8.5 tbs of ketchup – PURELY from a calories standpoint! That is 144 grams of ketchup – for the same calories as 17 grams of olive oil! Think about that! YES the sugars are a different matter – however – it DOES NOT make ketchup in itself "unhealthy" – it just makes it a "limited intake" ingredient / condiment if you are aiming for a certain level of sugar in your diet!

ALSO – The sugar in ketchup ISN'T THAT BAD! 22.8% sugar sounds bad – however usually people use a few tablespoons – and if they REALLY pile it on maybe 100 grams. 100 grams I would consider "too much" – but in a burger like this having that sweetness in the taste profile is worth the 4 grams of sugar you get in a 17 grams tablespoon of ketchup! Those 17-ish calories are well spend if you ask me!

  6. Here is an alternative to the bun – and it's REALLY easy to make especially if you have a mixer with a dough hook (2-3 buns):
100 grams of 12% or higher protein wheat flour.
100 grams of "low fat yoghurt" – we have a product which is called "Skyr" here – but I can't really find a good word for it in English. Essentially it is a yoghurt with 61 cal, 10g protein, 4g carbs and 0.2g fat per 100g. If you find something close to that – it should be fine. I've never tried it but I've been told that 1.5% cottage cheese works as well.
About 3 gram of dried yeast. If you have some "bakers enzyme" then add a bit of that as well.
    a pinch of salt

Make sure the "yoghurt" is room temp. If it's too cold, then the dough won't rise. For me in my microwave, 40 seconds does the job. MAKE SURE it's not too hot to hold your finger in. Too much heat kills the yeast.
Just dump it all into the mixer and set it on low speed for a minute, then on medium for a minute. You might need to stop it and incorporate lose stuff in the bottom of the bowl – however that rarely happen to me at least.
Let the dough rest under a dish towel for 30 minutes at room temp or above.
The dough is sticky, so flower your table.
Make the buns. If you want seeds on it, then brush with a tiny bit of water and sprinkle the seeds on.
Let them rest for 15 minutes.
Bake for about 12-15 minutes at 200C/400F. The first times you make it – keep an eye on it. At 12 minutes test if it's done by using a knife and see if the middle feels done / if it sticks to the knife – and adjust accordingly.

So – if you use the same size as those you are using there (62g) then 3 buns is the way to go.
    The math:
    100g of flour: 345 cal
    100g of "yoghurt": 61 cal
    = 406 cal
    406/3 = 135.3 cal per bun

Bonus: All natural – 0 preservatives.

  7. This was the last video i watched from him. Dont get me wrong the video is all good but in sick and tired of the fact that i can only make lime 5% of his recipes because I simply doesn’t have his ingredients in my country

  8. I’m tired of your videos always making same content did h forgot the previous contents that you posted🥵🥵🥵🥵

  9. I eat yellow onions raw, with the outer layer, unwashed yum

Actually I dont wash any of my vegetables

  10. For anyone craving burger "on a budget": Try the Burgertacos that have been viral last year.
-protein forward soft shell taco (127kcal, 7,5g protein)
    -85g lean minced meat (112kcal, 17g protein)
-veggies of choice (salad, tomatoes, pickles, onions, 10kcal)
    -cheese single (50kcal, 3g protein)

300kcal, almost 30g of protein. Either add 50kcal worth of sauce or a second slice of cheese (my preference) to get to 350kcal.

Eat 2 of these bad boys and you are filled to the brim, 700kcal 60+g protein, all burger cravings gone.

I even prefer them over regular burgers now, they are quite magical 🥰

hoping someone reads this and it helps them!

  11. I dream of a day where someone like Josh makes these kinds of recipes that are safe for someone like me who can't have things like gluten and lactose, and are disabled with chronic pain. My whole body is screwed 15 ways to Sunday. And yes, I know that it's 15. I looked at my medical record online and counted.

  12. I never understand why burgers were "unhealthy" but im not crazy about sauces so id maybe just spread a bit of mayo and mustard on the bun (instead of butter). Aside from the bread, the rest of the burger is just meat and veg.

  13. I’ve never thought about the “dilution” from water-rich veggies. Thanks for the tip, Josh! You’re the best
