Started my first batch of seeds 6 days ago. To my surprise it may have been waaaay early.
Southern WI, last frost is May 5th.
First ones to pop were Sugar Rush Stripey.
S22 115W light at 40% and 18” as of this morning. Little guys are popping up left and right.
How do they look so far? Any tips? Do I need to be misting/watering at all or can I wait a few days still?
Plan is to left as many pop as possible and crack the vents slightly tomorrow?
Wait until most have sprouted and take the dome off.
Up pot to 1 gal as soon as first set of true leaves and start with nutes.
I’ll need a wire rack, and I have 2 lights once needed.

Nice variety! Look great. As long as the soil is moist you should be good. I get the temptation to water though. Last year I cracked my humidity dome when a majority had sprouted and the rest still germinated just fine.
Did you do multiple seeds per spot? I’ve done 3 per, but cut back to 2 this year. 3 was too much of a pain to split when up potting.
I normally wait until 2nd set of true leaves to up pot to 5” pots. I don’t have the space inside for 1 gallons anyway.
Jealous of the setup! I need to graduate to something like that. I started early too (zone 7a, northern Va)…just couldn’t help it! Wishing you luck and lots of peppers!
