Hi fellow tomato lovers! Has anyone received the Fedco seed catalogue for 2026 yet?

My favorite seed sellers are Fedco (https://fedcoseeds.com/seeds/) and Garden Hoard (https://www.gardenhoard.com/), and I haven't received catalogues for either yet. Is too early?

I'm zone 6b in Michigan, so I prefer purchasing seeds grown in shorter season, northern locations. I'm also keen to find disease resistant versions this year.

If you already got your catalogue, I'd love to know. I'm not sure if they changed the process to require purchasing the catalogue instead of sending automatically.

Also Michigan and also waiting for the catalogue so keeping an eye on this one.

    Sorry I can’t offer help!

Bounty hunter seeds are my favorites

I can’t help, either. I got some of my tomato seeds this year from MIGardener, Park Seed and somewhere else. But I also have some left from last year.

Fedco now charges $3 for their delightful and informative catalog, but they give you a $3 credit toward your order. I think it may have been a way to save on catalogs being sent to people who don’t order. Sadly, they appear to have less of a public profile than some other companies, despite their being top tier on quality, company organisation and practices. You can, of course, browse and order from the website.

I got mine over a month ago and I did pay for it

Catalogs from most companies have been coming way late for me, for several years now (where I am it’s almost time to start pepper seeds….and people fifty miles west of me might have already done so).

Just got my catalog from Johnnys; the seeds I ordered from them arrived three weeks ago 😄

Used to be that I’d start getting catalogs from most companies in November (or even earlier) but lately that hasn’t been the case. I think I got ones from TGSC and Baker in early December, and the usual random ones from Gurneys and Pinetree (I’ve never ordered from either of the two, but they sure like sending me catalogs!)….other than that, I think they all came after the new year? Or at least, after Christmas.

Thanks for the links! I just checked out Garden Hoard (excellent name) and found Catalpa tree seeds with really detailed growing instructions, exactly what I needed!

I’m trying to plant a lot of these but didn’t have any idea what to do with the seed pods I had recently collected. They are very unusual, like a silk-encased flattened bean. Scarification and surface sow, apparently!

I got mine maybe a week or 2 ago. It felt like it took ages to get.
