I do not wish to rain on anyone’s parade. Different folks like different flavors and textures. However, I will say that as an Alaskan, this looks like a war crime. I can only hope that this was farmed salmon, and no wild fish gave its life for this plate.

I think I see what everyone is seeing… that piece on top middle right is out of focus and looks like it is cooked beyond well done to cardboard substitute levels. It’s an optical illusion which triggered my gag reflex. The piece in the front on the right looks medium on the inside. That’s what made me look closer.
That said, I’m with the Alaskan here… gently, lightly, if not raw. And to each their own.
