1/4 cup warm water + pinch of sugar
1 1/2 tsp cooking oil
1 tsp dry active yeast
1 large egg (room temperature)
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 Tbsp unsalted butter
*extra flour for kneading
*FILLING*
3 Tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
2 1/2 Tbsp light brown sugar
pinch of salt
*1/4 cup of half & half milk (optional)

*ICING*
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 or 2 Tbsp of cold water

  6. Well, I just made these and mine got huge! Mine grew out of my corning wear by at least an inch. I had to bake them for an extra 10 minutes bc when I tore off the top it was raw dough about half way down. I put them back in the oven.

  10. My only criticism is please dont wear rings when using hands like this in recipes. No amount of handwashing is goung to thoroughly clean the ring. Rings tend to collect a lot of germs and skin cells. And now thats all in the dough.
