Finally pulled the trigger on a timber accent kit for my Linea Mini, which brings my setup to its final form (right?). I’m sure there’s more customisation I can do, but I think I’m done, and will enjoy forever more.

My coffee journey started 12 years ago when I bought a Rancillio Silvia (pre-PID version). During COVID I bit the bullet and bought a Linea Mini second hand. I should’ve done it sooner! I remember the new prices being what I ended up paying second-hand (thanks La Marzocco).

Paired with a Mazzer Mini Electric B (yes, I know, retention queen — but it’s just the perfect match), and Acaia Lunar scale with the drip-tray insert.

Happy brewing ☕️

Have to see the grinder, and the rest first 😝

Judging by your house it’s been it for a while man. Congrats.

No… if you’re in this sub… it must never stop! Your wallet must flow as freely as Victoria Falls.

Just stop bro. The coffee isn’t going to taste any better

You can stop after you get a Monolith grinder or something

I got my Micra (along with walnut kit) last May, and haven’t had a single urge to upgrade at all. I just enjoy the coffee now.

I got the wood accent kit from Specht, and recommend it to anyone considering the upgrade.

Sorry pal, not with that grinder.

FWIW, having a dedicated coffee bar/wet bar with a plumbed in machine in next level.

I get bored when I drink the same coffee day after day. Therefore I need three grinders (Kafatek and Ozik) to keep it exciting. And yes each grinder has its own unique taste and taste totally different with the same beans.

You get the biggest gain with the perfect grinder not the coffeemachine; if tou have the eg-1 we shut up😂

Unfortunately not if you ever want pressure profiling

You can’t stop unless you have at least 2 lever machines, one manual and one spring based.

No you may not.. the rabbit hole is still deep. You barely scratching the surface 👻👻👻

Based on your grinder, no. You need a grinder with burrs made of diamond if you want to taste the aged nougat and rainbow grape flavor notes.

What’s your puck prep kit like? Oak tamper?

Sorry, you’ll still need to buy beans for the rest of your life
