Perhaps no comment expresses the connection between romance and cuisine like “Non esiste un amore più sincero di quello per il cibo”: “There does not exist a love more sincere than that for food,” which one would think came from some deep Italian thinker rather than the Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw.

Regardless, food and love do combine on Valentine’s Day, from those heart-shaped boxes of chocolates to bottles of the best champagne and great meals.

Brevard restaurants do have them, and this year, those that will offer special Valentine’s offerings include but are not limited to:
