Nose

Deep cherry, raspberry, manuka honey, absinthe, dried mushroom, sage, cardamom, chamomile, fennel seed

Palette reflecting the nose – Finish lasting many minutes.

Roundest wine I've ever tried. Like sucking on a holistic cough drop. So many medicinal flavours. A shamanistic combination of earth, fruit & foilage.

From the man who brought the bottle "You need to drink DRC young or very old, there is no in between"

    It’s a GE, not echezeaux.

Notes are also weird, you shouldn’t see that much earth in a young DRC, will probably taste mostly oak and fruit with a bit of whole cluster spice.

I would love to try this bottle, but I will never have the chance to drink a $3000 bottle.

  3. You think it’s good now, check back in 10-15

My first was a 2014 richebourgh a few years ago and I actually agree with some of your notes. The woody herbal notes from the stems/whole cluster was insane. Absurdly long finish. Super interesting wine and I’d love to try and long cellared one sometime.

  5. thx for sharing your experience pal🍷, cheers 🥂
