4 Flaky Biscuits:
1.33 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons sugar
0.67 teaspoons salt
4 Tablespoons oil
Just enough water for a not too sticky dough
Topped with homemade freeze-dried gravy + tofurkey (Recipe: https://youtu.be/zPgtkOVhC3w )
Weβre not kidding about this probably being the best breakfast weβve ever made outside. It was unbelievably good!!!

I am totally and completely jealous. I am a professional Chef. I cannot make biscuits to save my life.
Now drink the bag dough water – no waste ππππππ
Those biscuits
Those biscuits look legit! I add scrambled eggs on camping trips for some added protein and moisture. β€
I made sausage gravy and biscuits, and freeze dried them both. The moisture from rehydrating the sausage gravy was enough for the biscuitsβ¦.π
Reminds me of outdoor boys
How did you get all that equipment???
You can tell when things are done, whether it's an open fire, an oven, or a microwave oven, by how they SMELL. If you cannot smell them, or they don't smell done, they're not done yet.ππππππππππππππππππ

I wouldn't eat for the rest of the week if I ate that
One time I made a pineapple upside down cake from scratch in my cast iron Dutch oven with legs . Put briquettes above and below the pan . Baked it . The smell permeating through the campground was heavenly . Itβs been 35 years ago and I can still smell and taste it .
Luke Nichols (OutdoorBoys) has an AMAZING honey bread recipe i think you guys would love it!
