Shio and shoyu ramen with thick, chewy noodles. Waited like an hour and a half—get a ticket from the machine and you can check on your phone what place in line you are—and I loved it. Every element in the bowl had great flavor, from the chashu that was cooked super well and marinated thoroughly, to the noodles themselves. Flavorwise, the best one I’ve had.

Tabelog 3.82 and about ¥1400 per bowl with egg.

I love this place dearly. The chef works like clockwork, everything is so precise, and it’s a sight to see. Chill vibes too. Been there many times, and I will go every time I’m in Tokyo.

Still run by a lovely older couple? Incredibly refined shoyu with temomi noodles.
