Kagura is best known for their tonkatsu but they’re offering two curry dishes for the next few weeks. One is a curry omurice and the other is a curry hamburg steak. The Hamburg steak comes with shredded lettuce, white rice, a set of three pickle dishes, and miso soup (not pictured). I added their karaage chicken as an appetizer. Everything was quite good. The karaage chicken was super juicy and flavorful with a very crispy exterior. The hamburg steak had a nice tender texture, the curry sauce was very flavorful, they used good quality rice and even the shredded cabbage was tasty. My only knock would be that I wish the curry sauce was spicier.
$20.99 for the hamburg steak set and $8.99 for the karaage chicken. Friendly fast service. Free parking in the small lot in front of the shop, on the street or in the back lot next door. Cash and card accepted. 7/10
