It was at the end of 2024 that the doors of Ardon Creek Winery in Iowa closed.  However, new owners took over, and now they have a vineyard and tasting room for you to sip, snack, and enjoy their events.

Josh Glasson and his team are excited to keep the tradition going while adding in their own new twists.

The new location, The Creek: An Ardon Creek Lounge, is located next to Contrary Brewing on the banks of the Mississippi River.  The Creek opened on June 20th, 2025, and is open every day of the week.

They feature Ardon Creek wines, both independently or as part of their signature wine cocktails. Plus, the kitchen is open 3-7 most days, offering a small but thoughtful food menu designed to pair well with the wines.

In addition to the downtown tasting room, all wine production continues at their original vineyard location in Letts.

The Creek also features live music regularly and special events like puzzle racing and an upcoming “Galentine’s Day” event.  You can see everything they have going on by following them on Facebook.

That’s another view from The Creek…just sit back, sipping wine, and enjoy the view of the river.

While there is plenty to sip on year-round in Muscatine, they do take reservations and have concerts at their vineyard in Letts.

Josh says, “We’re planning to bring back our Music in the Vineyard concert series this year, continuing a tradition that’s been part of Ardon Creek for the past 15 years. The schedule is almost finalized and will be posted on our Facebook and website soon!”
