Vertuo pod Cup cracks, issue?

Hi,

Whilst I was cleaning my vertuo machine I noticed cracks in the cup which holds the pod inside of the machine. How much is this significant or it's just a more cosmetic issue. I have not seen any issues so far when it comes to coffee making.
