I had one at DFW a few weeks back. Not only was I surprised at how good it was, but it was fast and cooked perfectly. They have really upped their game. In fairness, I hardly ever eat out, and when I do, it is never at a chain like Chili’s, so it has been a while.

I worked at chilis for four years and the burgers are actually pretty decent quality, they’re frozen but they’re really big and good beef, cooked to order.
I used to love the queso burger, and I would add extra tortilla strips.

In the big box category of restaurants, Chili’s has the current title of king of burgers right now in my opinion. Excellent value priced, taste on point, and plenty of food.

The 3 for me is a banging deal. $1 upgrade to go from the cup of chicken enchilada to a bowl, and the smash burger with fries and a drink is a great deal. Not gonna lie – prefer these burger to In n Out and almost as much as 5 Guys.
