The LMSSLM Group, a leading Zaragoza-based company in the organized restaurant sector, has consolidated its aggressive expansion plan with two strategic moves at opposite ends of its operational territory. The company closed 2025 with sustained growth, marked by a key opening in southern Gran Canaria, and kicked off 2026 by marking an international milestone: its entry into Las Palmas and the Principality of Andorra.
The restaurant, now open in the Oasis Shopping Centre, is integrated into an open-plan space with landscaped surroundings and direct access to the Meloneras promenade. Facing Maspalomas Beach, it caters to residents, tourists, and guests of nearby hotels. The new restaurant, with seating for 148, has two entrances—one from the promenade and the other from the shopping area—as well as an outdoor terrace. Its various spaces, all with direct sea views, have been designed to offer a relaxed experience for any occasion: family meals, dinners with friends, or a break during a day of shopping.
The Canary Islands market was the focus of the 2025 fiscal year. The group opened a new restaurant under its flagship brand, ‘La Mafia se sienta a la mesa’ (The Mafia Sits at the Table), in the tourist resort of Maspalomas. This opening is significant, as it represents the brand’s fourth restaurant in the Canary Islands, reinforcing the operator’s commitment to high-traffic tourist destinations where its high-quality Italian cuisine (‘Piacere di mangiare’ – The Pleasure of Eating) has found a loyal following.
Without pausing to consider the calendar, the LMSSLM Group has begun 2026 by expanding internationally. The big news at the start of the year is the launch of its ‘Ditaly’ brand in Andorra. This brand, which specializes in the concept of “Contemporary Neapolitan Pizza” and elegant Italian cuisine in a more disruptive format, represents the spearhead for the group’s internationalization in this new phase.
The Zaragoza-based group’s track record demonstrates efficient management of the franchise model, where they have successfully segmented their brands to cover different market niches: La Mafia se sienta a la mesa, their flagship brand, focuses on a traditional, large-format Italian dining experience. And Ditaly: a more avant-garde and urban offering. With these openings, the LMSSLM Group not only increases its number of business units but also demonstrates remarkable logistical versatility, managing, in just a few weeks, an opening in the subtropical climate of Gran Canaria and another in the heart of Andorra.
