Under 10? It’s really a toss up depending on the preferences of the crowd. Beef ribs are always a hit here, as are pork ribs and brisket.
Really at any level, if I have room in the smoker, it’s going to be filled with something. Sometimes I’ll cure and smoke a pork loin for back bacon, then chill and slice for a meat/cheese board, often I will smoke a whole chicken for those who don’t eat beef or pork, if I have leftover fish fillets from a fishing trip I’ll usually incorporate it somehow (I have had great luck with a smoked fish cheese ball using salmon, trout, smallmouth bass, or rockfish), salmon candy bites, smoked sausage links, smoked baby potatoes, smoked stuffed mushrooms. Really anything that can be eaten with your hands, a cracker, a bun, or a toothpick.

Is the bacon crispy or more soft on the poppers?

Can’t go wrong with a variety. Why box yourself into a corner?

For a big crowd, I like a good butt
For a smaller gathering, tri-tips on the Santa Maria

Jalapeno Poppers or Ribs ftw.
Can I come over to your place to watch the game?
Atomic buffalo turds : poppers ! Is a bbq competition favorite of mine !
It depends on the crowd (size/dietary preferences), current meat prices, budget, or if I need to get something out of the freezer rotation.
30+ people? Pulled pork slider bar all day.
20-29? If I really like you, pork ribs. If I just kindof like you? Smoked wings.
16-19? Poppers/wings, maybe pork riblets.
10-15? Could go between Brisket, [Swineapple](https://www.smoking-meat.com/may-26-2016-the-amazing-smoked-swineapple) or Swineapple bites, smoked chicken drums/thighs, tri-tip roast, poppers or armadillo eggs,
