It’s not supposed to cook overnight btw.

Best practice is not to use the fires of Mt. Doom to make banana bread.

Happens to the best of us.

  3. Uchihagod53

Probably added too much bread, silly

It’s possible something is wrong with your oven.

Did you get Celsius and Fahrenheit mixed up? Or sacrifice it to a fire demon who sent it back?

  6. Odd-Lime-2738

It’s overripe. Should have eaten that last week.

  7. boyleboys

Even if this wasn’t scorched the texture looks really off for banana bread

Not sure what happened? I think your oven decided to cremate the bananas instead of baking them. RIP to those fruits

  9. KazooMark

Did you bake it in an oven or on the surface of the sun?

  10. supergarto

Not sure, I am not a cook but I think it might be overcooked

  11. rh51too

Pro tip: 30 minutes at 700°F is not equivalent to 60 minutes at 350°F.

Never let Fire Marshall Bill make the banana bread

  21. GmeBuckBoi

Looks like max oven temp for 45 Mins or so

  22. PhraseWrong3761

Silicone pans bake at higher temperatures and faster times. I’m a baker and seldom use silicone. Use glass or aluminum.

When you start smelling it, check to see if it’s done. If not done it’s usually almost done.

I have a good banana bread recipe if she wants to try again. Or if the just wants to find one online, she should look for one without *liquid magma*. Rookie mistake, happens to the best of us.
