Loved it in 90s but all locations by my closed then 1 location opened about 80 minutes away which I eventually tried. Unfortunately it wasnt anywhere close to as good as it used to be

The bread is the absolute best. My wife got a bread machine awhile ago and one of the recipes she tried one day made a bread with texture almost identical to Schlotzskys. It’s been our go-to bread at home and it makes the best sandwiches.

There is one very close by to me, and they are really good, but it has been a while since I’ve had a sandwich from there. They are expensive, but they used to run regular coupons in the various places however I haven’t seen a coupon from them in a while.

I worked at one in Gilbert, AZ when I was in college. I went it look it up recently and it’s still there, 17 years later, so it looks they are doing something right. They had good food, but it’s been so long since I’ve had it.

I discovered them around 2001 and ate there so much in such a short amount of time that I got sick of them. It must’ve been 2-3 times a week for a few months. I have never gone back since. You know what? I’ll get some this week.
