With dining rooms across Pennsylvania closed, takeout and delivery are the only way for Philadelphians to access restaurant food during the coronavirus pandemic. Many restaurants that normally don’t sell their meals to go have quickly added pickup and delivery options.
Delivery services like Caviar and Uber Eats offer a lot of choices. That said, it’s generally better for restaurants if customers order directly through them rather than through a third-party service, which takes a hefty cut.
Walk-in ordering is not allowed — food must be ordered in advance, either online or by calling.
This list includes a selection of places across cuisines and price points currently offering takeout and delivery. It does not include every option — more restaurants are joining in, and others are stopping service, so if a favorite spot isn’t here, call or check the restaurant’s social media.

Pizza Plus — Order online or by phone. Only one customer is allowed in the shop at a time, so the staff will send a text when the pizza is ready.

Pizzeria Stella — Order by phone and pick up at the restaurant from noon to 9 p.m. Wine and beer are also available, along with pizza kits for kids.
Pete’s Famous Pizza — Call or order online for pizza, or order via Workhorse Brewing Co. for a pizza and beer combo.
Osteria —Restaurants in the Schulson Collective are reopened, including Osteria, Via Locusta, and Giuseppe & Sons. Place orders for pickup through each restaurants’ website or use Caviar for delivery.
A Mano — Call to order pasta by the pound, sauces by the pint, foccacia, and vegetable dishes for pickup.
