A Florence man has been charged on more than 50 counts related to the possession of child pornography police say.Florence officers say they were notified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding “several media files” that were flagged with child pornography.Officials say an investigation followed that resulted in the identification of Lucas R. Cook, 31, as the alleged offender.Police say Florence’s Investigative Division obtained a search warrant for Cook’s home, on Morningside Drive, and resulted in “several electronic devices” being collected, as well as an interview with Cook.
