In my search for a romantic, cozy French restaurant in the West Village, I booked a dinner reservation next month at La Ripaille. There are a couple of articles online from late 2024 saying that it was due to close, though (e.g., New York Post… I know, I know).
My reservation via Resy was confirmed, the restaurant's website looks functional and current, and there are reviews from as recent as last month.
Anyone have an idea what's happened since the potential closure from 2024? And is it still under the original/family ownership? Thanks!
