How do these places realize that dishes are made of glazed ceramic for a reason.
Anything that absorbs liquids and such cannot be cleaned properly to be food safe.
If you want to do something stupid like this cover the wood in a food safe coating that makes it actually safe. I don’t understand the desire to now only have stupid serving dishes but to also make them unsafe at the same time.

That board looks like so many food and safety violations. Tacos with a chance of tetanus! Also the fork looks like it’s the size of a broadsword.
