Here’s how to make Mediterranean-style dressing at home.

Ingredients:
– (1 Clove) Garlic
– (1/2 Tsp) Dijon Mustard
– (1/2) Lemon Juice & Zest
– (1 Tsp) Oregano
– (3 Parts) Olive Oil
– (1 Part) Red Wine Vinegar
– (Pinch) Salt & Pepper

Crush the garlic clove before adding to a bowl with the dijon, zest & juice of half of a lemon, oregano, salt, and pepper. Allow the spices to bloom in the acid for a minute or two to marry the flavors.

Slowly add the olive oil and red wine vinegar, whisking continuously to incorporate the ingredients. Add to an airtight container, and store in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.

Sauces and dressings are so easy to make at home, and taste 100x better than the preservative-packed bottles from the store.

Trust me, this is going to become your new go-to dressing for everything.

  1. That looks wonderful . We have a lot of heat in the summer in the Valley . Salads are a regular staple during summer. Thanks for a new dressing

  2. Olive oil , red whine vinegar… salt, pepper and some honey. Best greek salad dressing… you cann add parsley if you like. Mix red onion with cucumber, tomatoes, good feta and roasted bread (Rub a clove of garlic over the bread slices once they are roasted, rip it into pieces and into the salad) add this dressing and its just heaven!

  3. No all you need is great olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and maybe some oregano. That's it.
