My favorite outside of Texas. 1/2lb brisket, 4 pork ribs, 1/2lb pulled pork sando, tallow fried spiral cut fries, green chile corn pudding. Pricey but always great.

Lewis makes some absolutely killer BBQ! Went to the Greenville location last year myself.

Lewis is the closest thing we have to Austin outside of Texas

Lewis just opened a location here in Atlanta and I really need to get over there soon. This weekend is going to be frigid, seems like as good a time as any to stuff my face then snooze the rest of the day away.

Lewis is awesome! The turkey is also delicious!

BBQ has become a little expensive. One reason I have worked on my craft. The other is – there is no good BBQ in New Mexico.

Thanks for the recommendation I do travel through from time to time

I hit that spot every time I go to Charleston and eat myself into oblivion. This last trip, in October, I stretched my stomach capacity and gave Palmira BBQ a try as well. I loved it too, would recommend.

I think I put on 10 pounds when I was working in Charleston a few years ago. Lewis was my Wednesday night dinner before flying home Thursday afternoon.
Lewis is one of the few BBQ places I’ve been to when I knowingly eat more than I should figuring the pain later is worth the pleasure now.

Looks good but $70 for a plate is crazy lol
Bob_Sacamanos_father
I’d commit some light felonies for that green chile sauce

Good balance of meat and sides! As good as BBQ is, you neeeed the sides to cut through the richness… but too much sides and you feel distracted or ripped off.
Some acid, some spice, some stodge… it works nicely.

Went to Lewis in 2019. I’d pay every cent. The quality is just there. I’d put them above move Texas and KC brisket. Had enough where I can easily defend that claim.

I’d pay it

Lewis is my favorite BBQ place, the one in Greenville is as good as the one in Charleston. Respect if you were able to finish the whole thing, that like 5lb of meet food lol

Lewis is good, we have one in Greenville. I still prefer Bobby’s.

My coworker just paid $55 for 4 ribs over here in tx

Love Lewis’s! First stop everytime we go to Charleston!

Louis’ sides are just insane. That Jalapeño corn casserole is ridiculously good. Last time I was in Charleston I got a ton of meat for the crew, but we housed the sides so fast we had to go back for a sides run the next day for leftovers.
