I mean, adding the cherries to the ground meat was uncalled for but if you made the same thing without that step, it’d be pretty close to a thanksgiving leftover sandwich.

Imagine someone cooked that while on vacation

Cherry mayonnaise! New! From the makers of peanut butter and chives.

  4. godbyzilla

Was the theme cherries where they dont belong?

She once made a cocktail that curdled the cream/milk in it and you could see on her face that she instantly regretted taking a sip.

I’d try it. I definitely want way less of that mayonnaise or maybe a different spread altogether, but dark cherries in well seasoned meat seems like it would be tasty. I think a more bitter green would also suit more than just plain lettuce. Maybe add something like goat cheese.

If you see someone scrape the blade of their knife across the cutting board then don’t take them seriously.

I would eat that. Sweet and savory.

Bryce now has complete meltdowns whenever he even sees a cherry.

People eat cranberries and turkey together in sandwiches so this isn’t entirely an odd combo. And leave her drunk ass alone, she a mess but she’s a beloved mess.

Looks like a 5/10 I would give it a shot

Is this the “two shots of vodka” lady?

  16. Jimmy_Twotone

I’ve burned by grapes in chicken salad too many times to be ok with cherries in a chicken burger.

It would need more in order to be a dessert, but this can definitely work in different types of dishes; especially if they’re game meat like elk.

How drunk was she when she first made this?

The way that woman handled the meat to make it into “burguer” shape tells me this woman has never made a burger in her life

If I was Bryce, this would come right back up my alley…eeeeewww!!

  22. Rasples1998

It’s like an american bastardisation of Swedish food.

Everytime I’m feeling down I just watch Sandra Lee videos on YouTube and my day gets better.

Honestly, I can kind of get down with this as a sweet/savory type of thing.

If the meat is well-seasoned (I wouldn’t use chicken), and you got a good sear, plus topped it with maybe caramelized onion, gouda (or maybe cream or goat cheese), and cherry mayo, plus some shredded lettuce, I could see that being pretty bangin.

  25. Cherry? Good! Chicken? Good; what’s not to like?
